Rumor: Brand New iMac Launching Very Soon

The iMac could soon be getting an update, a rumor that is prompted by increased shipping times increase for existing models. The report comes from AppleInsider who are noting that iMacs that are being ordered directly from Apple are now shipping within 3-5 business days, rather than the normal 24 hours. This observation extends all across the 21.5 and 27 inch versions of the iMac, and is seen beyond the Apple Store itself, with Apple resellers all seeing shortages and offering discounts on the current models.

The iMac has been rumored to soon be on the receiving end of a significant update, with much lower priced models expected to be launched soon. With WWDC just around the corner, the stock shortages and price discounts of resellers could be indicating that the new models will be launched soon.
