A new series of pictures of third party iPhone 6 cases has been published today, which are suggesting that the device could have an altered power/lock button position. According to images published by nowhereelse.fr, the case that has been identified as an iPhone 6 case has a power button located on the left side of the device rather than on the top. The case also shows a thinner form factor than the iPhone 5 and 5S, as well as altered volume buttons.
It’s not clear if the manufacturers are producing the case on rumored specs, or whether a leak from an Apple manufacturing facility has provided the technical schematics needed to produce the cases. Either way, the manufacturers obviously strongly believe that the power/lock button in the iPhone 6 will be relocated to the side of the device.
