A new image has been published which appears to show the larger front panel of the iPhone 6, shown side by side with an iPhone 5S. The image, published on Weibo (and spotted by iphone.fr) shows an image of the front panel in a production facility with several other new panels racked up in the background. The iPhone 6 panel itself appears to have a significantly larger screen, with slightly thinner side bezels. The positions of the camera, light sensor and Home button all appear to be the same.
The iPhone 6 is expected to have a thinner form factor and it is rumored to be launching in September of this year with a 4.7 inch, and potentially 5.5 inch, screen. Given the proportions in the picture it is likely that this image represents the 4.7 inch version, a size increase which is likely to be extremely popular (particularly in the context of recent rumored price increases).
