A new report is suggesting that the final Developer build of the upcoming iOS 7 operating system for Apple mobile devices will be released to Developers on September 10. According to BGR, the Gold Master (GM) edition of iOS 7 will first be seeded to Apple employees and carrier partners on September 5, and will hit the Developer centre on September 10, the same day as the purported iPhone 5S and 5C launch event. Prior to the final release, there will also be another beta version seeded to Developers next week, following the two week interval testing period that Apple has implemented in this instance.
There is no word on when a public release of iOS 7 will take place but if Developers are given two weeks to test the GM release, then a public release could take place around September 24. BGR has historically had a patchy record with unreleased Apple products but in this instance, the news isn’t two surprising given the two week intervals that have been used for beta releases.
