Following on from reports that Apple would be holding an event on September 10 to unveil the iPhone 5S and low-cost iPhone 5C, Bloomberg is reporting that the newest versions of each of the iPad devices will be arriving in the final three months of the year. According to the report, and contrary to previous rumors, Apple will be taking the wraps off a Retina Display enabled iPad mini, and the fifth generation iPad, during the months of October to December of this year.
This final three month timeline would mean that the iPad devices will not be uneviled at the September event, and would also mean that Apple is most likely going to be holding another event later in the year. However, many rumors up until now have suggested that the iPad mini will not receive a Retina Display in the next generation update, so the veracity of the information is unclear.
