A new report is suggesting that Apple will be launching their Back to School promotional program this week, offering free iTunes gift cards with purchases. According to 9to5Mac, the program, which is opened in multiple countries including the US, gives students the opportunity to purchase a Mac, iPad or iPhone and will grant them a free iTunes gift card with the purchase. For those that purchase an iOS device, the gift card will be of $50 value, and Mac purchases will give the customer a $100 gift card.
The vouchers can be redeemed at all Apple online stores, like the iTunes Store, the iBookstore and the iOS and Mac App Stores. There’s no word on how long the program will run for, but if you have the opportunity to purchase a new Mac or iOS device this week, see if you can get a student in on the act.
