More new images display what is claimed to be omponents for the upcoming iPhone 5S have been published today, giving further indication that production for the device is in full swing for a Fall launch. According to French site Nowhereelse.fr, who published the photos, the images are of batteries for the new iPhone 5S. While the batteries do not have any identifiable markings on them to support the claim, the pictures come hot on the heels of photos from earlier on in the week which apparently show the screen of the iPhone 5S in production.
The iPhone 5S is expected to be launched later in the year in the September-October timeframe and has been rumored to have a more powerful processor, an upgraded camera and a fingerprint sensor under the Home button.
