A new report from Reuters is suggesting that Apple is looking to introduce new iPhone models with significantly larger screens later next year. According to the report, Apple has been testing a number of larger displays of between 4.7 inches and 5.7 inches diagonally, which is bigger than the 4 inch screen found in the iPhone 5, and the 3.5 inch screen found in prior models. The new report is careful to note that while the new screen sizes are being investigated, there is no guarantee that it will actually launch.
In addition to this, the report also highlights the upcoming iPhone 5S which is expected to have a fingerprint sensor under the Home button. The report also touches on a budget model of iPhone that will be launched in different colors, and points towards a price point of $99. The report notes that the colors of the new device are currently being worked on, and cautions that it may not launch alongside the iPhone 5S, with a potential launch window of next year.
