The next major update to the full size iPad will apparently be released several months in advance of any updates to the iPad mini, according to a new report published today. The report comes from Digitimes who claim to have information that points towards construction of a new full size iPad beginning in July-August. However, the site suggests that construction of the next generation iPad mini would not take place until at least November, meaning a gap of several months between the releases.
While details have been scarce on the new iPad, the new device is expected to have a significant redesign from the previous version, with new thinner bezels at the sides, as well as a thinner and lighter form factor that is reportedly inspired by the look of the iPad mini.
