Lending support to some recent reports that the iPhone 6 would be launched by Apple in September of this year, a new report from MacRumors is confirming that the device is indeed going to be introduced by Apple in the early part of the month. The report, from sources unknown, further suggests that the device will be launched shortly after, in the later half of September, but no specific date for either the announcement of the iPhone 6, or the launch, is given.
The site suggests that mass shipments of the iPhone 6 will take place in early August, and that large numbers of the device will start arriving from China to the United States around this time. Apparently these deliveries will actually start arriving around a week and a half after the announcement event
