Following on from rumors last week that the iPhone 6 would be launched on September 19, a new set of reports are suggesting that the iPhone 6 will in fact be launched on September 25 of this year. The reports stem from sources in China (via GforGames) who are suggesting that the the new device, in addition to launching on September 25, will have a price of around $850 for the 32GB 4.7 inch version and $965 for the 16GB 5.5 inch version.
In addition, the reports also suggest that the name of the larger 5.5 inch version will actually be the ‘iPhone Air’, taking influence from the nomenclature of the latest version iPad.
It’s not clear if the source of the information is accurate, but certainly provides further suggestion that the next generation iPjone will launch in the second half of September.
