Apple has released the first significant update to OS X 10.10 Yosemite to registered members of the Developer program, in the form of OS X 10.10.1 beta. Developers can download the beta through the Mac App Store Software Update facility now, although it’s not yet clear what sort of bug fixes and issues have been addressed in this update. Given that Yosemite has a number of flaws with Wi-Fi, user interface, Mail, and folder organisation, users will be doubtlessly be very happy.
In addition, Apple has also released the first beta of iOS 8.1.1 for testing, which brings a number of bug fixes and stability improvements. This update doesn’t bring any new features but will also be welcomed by users who have seen issues with iOS 8, again with Mail and other apps.
